Jamie Baldwin Gaviola

Jamie Baldwin Gaviola

When I asked for Purpose in my art, these mandalas came forth. I see no end to their emergence. They are created as moving meditations through a fusion of technique and flow. They have been called β€œmirrors, portals, and tapestries of the unseen.” I share them because I hope that they ignite a remembrance of the interconnectedness of all things.

Gaviola grew up and began her education in Santa Barbara, CA and now resides near Nyack, NY. She has a BA in Fine Art, has exhibited extensively in NY, and has acquired collectors in the US and abroad through her significant online presence. She has been actively practicing yoga for 20 years. She draws inspiration from meditation, aboriginal dreaming, fractals, spiritual architecture, geometry, quantum mechanics, Carl Jung, cymatics, microorganisms, nanotechnology, nature, and inspired texts describing unity.
